Dubai, Dec 16: Ganiga Samaj, Dubai successfully organized a blood donation camp in Dubai under the leadership of president of the Samaj, Satheesh Venkatramana, for the 4th year in succession on December12 at Latifa Hospital, Dubai. By doing so continuously for the 4th year, the Ganiga Samaj have joined the elite group of other organizations in Dubai, who are organizing these camps on a continuous basis.
More than 75 community members and prominent members of other organizations in Dubai participated in this camp and donated blood. The hospital authorities meticulously scrutinized the entire donors’ blood samples to ensure that their haemoglobin level was sufficient to donate the blood, besides their blood pressure etc, before allowing donation. Around 75 units of blood were donated by the members and others.
The UAE government authorities and the hospital authorities greatly appreciated the Ganiga Samaj and all the members for their noble deed of organizing the blood donation camp.
Besides Satheesh Venkatramana of the Samaj and Mamta Satish, other prominent members who participated were Suresh Ganiga, K J Ganiga, Mr & Mrs Prasanna Kuthpady, Harish Shetty, Lokesh Venkatramana, Manoj Kumar, Sathish Shetty, Mr & Mrs Raghavendra Ganiga, Mr & Mrs Srinivas, Ramesh Ganiga and Ganesh Ganiga and others. From Ganiga Samaj (sapaliga) Mangalore Padmanab and his friends had participated.
Prominent members of other associations were Balakrishna Salian, Aruna Muthagadoor, Mallikarjuna Gowda, Sadan Das, Ashok Belman, Kiran, Satish Poojari, and Anand Bailor.
The president of Samaj, Satheesh Venkatramana thanked all the members and others for responding to the call and coming in large numbers and making the blood donation camp a huge success. Chilly Willy company of Satheesh Venkatramana gifted T-shirts and other gift articles to all the donors.
