About Score More

An important factor contributing to higher anxiety levels amongst students during exams is inadequate preparation coupled with insufficient revision of the portion studied. A certain amount of nervous tension or anxiety does help students perform to the best of their abilities, but excessive anxiety can block thoughts, lead to panic and eventually result in poor exam performance. Karnataka State Board students can now rejoice as they have help at hand. 'Score More' - Maths and Science Companion for SSLC Board exams is an 80 page book consisting of important points, formulae and tips to remember for the SSLC students to perform better in the board examinations.

This book will be given free of cost to any student, studying in 10th standard state board. To avail a copy, the student can visit Vikas Pre University College, Airport Road, Maryhill, Mangalore.

SCORE MORE is a Nice Initiative By VIKAS. At the young age of 15 ,students will have more anxiety.Just the Subject does not matter. The overall pressure to perform can upset the mind. If the Booklet HELPS Young MINDS, we should welcome this FREE Service. As Mr.Eric says, its true that BOOK WORM wont be very practical. BUT if you see Mr.Palemar himself, He is NO bookworm . With limited Education ,He has Risen to the TOPMOST Cabinet Ministers Rank ,YET, wants to HELP Students to free themselves due to Change in Syllabus ,Confusion, etc.Today Mr.Palemar Knows the importance of Education & is also Giving FREE education to the deserving. This Move should be Welcomed by all Concerned. GOOD LUCK STUDENTS...

Scoring More marks is the criteria of your studies. I absolutely don't agree. I have seen many students are just book worms to get more marks but have absolutely Nil practical knowledge. Time we inculcate practical courses to students that helps them to be entrepreneurs. Being Intelligent and getting more marks makes no sense if we don't have common sense. Look in India everything is confusing. Confused Laws, Confused Systems, Confused Mind, Confused Political leaders, Confused Bureaucrats everything confused inspite of high qualification like IAS, IPS, IFS and what not. Time we make our life simple and easy and not complicated like the education system we are facing today. They say the biggest assets of an Indian is his brains i.e., intelligence which becomes corrupted later on, whereas a person with common sense mind will not be corrupted.

Dear Eric sir, I agree with you. But, the intention with which we published this book is to help students from villages cope up with the ncert syllabus. Not just to promote rote learning.
