Belthangady: Boy and girl attacked for going out together

Belthangady, Jan 21: A young boy and girl were attacked by some villagers for going out together.

The incident happened at Kakyapadavu near Karinja.

As per reports, the young boy named Sundara went with a girl (who cannot be named) to a feast in a temple. While they were on their way back home in an auto rickshaw, some local persons stopped and attacked them on January 15.

The persons involved in the attack have been identified as Sandeep, Dilip, Santosh, Rohinath, Aravind, Dharnappa and Dinesh.

A police complaint has been lodged at Punjalkatte police station on January 18. Police are investigating the case.
