Mysuru: Children taken ill after dinner in hostel

Mysuru, Jan 22: 18 children who ate their dinner at Kasturba Gandhi residential school hostel in Nanjangud on Tuesday night have been admitted to a hospital after the complaints of food poisoning.

The children started vomiting after eating their dinner and they were taken to the government hospital in the town.

Dr Hariprasad who treated the children said that the children were taken ill because of the stale food they ate.

Warden Renuka and the cooking staff of the hostel have been suspended by the DDPI pending enquiry.
