Kasargod, Jan 27: A boy who had sustained serious injuries inan accident involving a car and truck at Periya on the evening of Saturday January 24 breathed his last on Monday January 26.
Afraaz (8),son of Ayub from Pandy in Padannakad Kantilot, breathed his last due to injuries he suffered in the said accident. His brother, six-year-old Afrid, had died on the spot in the said accident. The accident had occurred after a car being driven by the children's mother, Sabira, hit a truck coming from opposite direction at Periya. Sabira and her two children were in the car at the time, and the car had suffered extensive damages.
Sabira continues to be treated in hospital.
