Mangaluru: ABVP conduct 'Nasha Mukta Bharath' campaign

Mangaluru, Jan 30: ABVP conducted 'Nasha Mukta Bharath' campaign from Besant to Lalbagh Gandhi circle. The students formed a human chain and took oath here at Mangaluru on Friday January 30.

The press note issued by ABVP stated "India is in the first position in using tobacco products like cigarette, beedi, jardha. This is a curse to our society and these have a massive impact on the society. Every year 10 lakhs people die due to tobacco and out of these 10% are students. More than 10 crore people are addicted to drugs and drinking. Many family's are suffering due to these addictions. We will try to deadict at least 5 people from these addiction and we will consider this as gods responsibility".



ABVP leaders Swaraj Shetty, Praveen, Hitesh Bekal and Gangadar Nayak were present at the event.
