FKCA to host ‘Konkani Saanj’ by Kevin Misquith on Feb 1

Bengaluru, Jan 30: The much awaited FKCA (Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations) annual day celebration which is being held on February 1, 2015 will have a glamour added to it, with the acclaimed and young Konkani star Kevin Misquith presenting a ‘Konkani Saanj’ for the Konkani fans in and around ‘Namma Bengaluru’.

The decision to host ‘The Milestone Band’ was taken keeping in mind the huge demand for a musical gala from Konkani fans and members of FKCA.

The event will be sponsored by NRI Ronald Colaco & family, Realtors Hebron Properties, DNI Home Theaters owned by Alex Lewis, Deccan Group, Neumatica, Associated Hydro Pressing Pvt Ltd and Mangalore Hills Group.

Federation of Konkani Catholic Association is excited to have CM Siddaramaiah as the chief guest of the day and Archbishop Bernard Moras presiding over the function. The event also will see the presence of renowned politicians such as V Srinivas Prasad revenue minister, K J George home minister, J R Lobo member of Legislative Assembly and MLC Ivan D’Souza.

The apex body representing 30 Konkani Catholic Associations in Karnataka and different parts of the country & the world, will honour three achievers- Edwin Joseph Francis D'Souza , Jacob Crasta and Austin Roach for their yeomen contributions to the Konkani community.

FKCA has extended a warm welcome to everyone for the event and has urged huge turn-up of the Konkani Catholic Christians in order to boost the native spirit.
