Mangalore: Shooting Started for Raymond Quadros' Second Film

Mangalore, Jan 25: After a hit Konkani film Padri, Raymond Quadros is ready to set his foot in Sandalwood.  The shooting for his second film Manmatha started on Wednesday January 24 at Kanthirava Studio, Bangalore. Renowned Kannada actor Darshan clapped the first shot.


Established Kannada actor Jaggesh is paying double role of a handicap young man and of a modern young man in the film. Bharathi, a popular actress in Tamil with 5 films under her belt a Tamil is playing the main roll in this film.

Although Raymond wanted to give this roll for a Mangalorean talent, he could not get a right actress for the role. However young Chethan Rai who hails from Dakshina Kannada district and has acted in   kannada, one hindi and in one Telugu movie is playing a main role in the movie. He has acted in a few Kannada serials.

 

Most of the prominent personalities from Kannada filmdom were present during the muhurtham of "Manmatha" along with the producer Raymond Quadros, co-producer Austine Roche, director Rajesh Fernandes, Jaggesh, Bharathi, Darshan, B C Patil, Abhijit and others.
