Mumbai: GSB Mandal Dombivli celebrates annual Ramarathotsava

Mumbai, April 4: GSB Mandal Dombivli celebrated their annual Ram Navami festival at their Swayamvara hall on Tuesday, March 31.

Community prayers, Ramanama Havana, Pavamana Abhisheka, Mahapooja and Anna Santarpane were held as part of religious programmes.

The Car Festival was held in the evening by keeping the Festival idol in the chariot made up of Teak wood costing Rs 6 lacs. The chariot was prepared by D D Shane of Mahalasa Handykrishna of Kumta in Uttara Kannada district. It was 6 feet long, 5 feet wide, 12 feet high and was carved beautifully.

The Chariot was pulled on the main road in Dombivli. It concluded at Ambikanagara Gogyanwadi in GSB Mandala school.
