Mangaluru: Management students converge at Besant for inter-collegiate fest 'Edify'

Mangaluru, Apr 16: Students from 15 colleges on Thursday April 16converged at MSNM Besant Institute of Postgraduate Studies, Bondel to participate in the PG-level management fest 'Edify-2015'.

Dr M S Moodithaya, registrar of Nitte University inaugurated the fest.

In his inaugural address, Dr Moodithaya said, "We have seen India developing. The image of India has changed. We are growing very fast and are fortunate to see India growing. Becoming a successful person is not that easy and a small failure may shake you really hard. All are gifted with some talent or the other, and no one is less."

He further added, "Your destiny is created by yourself, your thoughts play an important role in your life. Do not be afraid of your failures, there are successful men who have failed many times to achieve something. If you want to taste success, you should first try to digest failure."

Kudpi Jagadish Shenoy, president, Women's National Education Society, Mangaluru also spoke on this occasion.

Dr Narayan Kayarkatte, director of MSNM Besant Institute of Postgraduate Studies welcomed the guests. Prof Sachin R Chandra, facutlty co-ordinator briefed about the fest. Akhil, a second year MBA student proposed the vote of thanks.

Several compeitions were held throughout the day that tested the skills and calibre of the management students.
