Advertiser, Kulal Sangh president, Sunder Karmaran, passes away

Mumbai, May 22: Sunder Karmaran (75), who hailed from Handelu near Moodbidri, and who was the working president of Kulal Sangha Mumbai's CST-Mulund committee, breathed his last in a hospital in Sion in the metro on Wednesday May 20. He is survived by wife, son, and a daughter.

Sunder, who founded Surya Advertising, and Suvidha - a company that specializes in design and fabrication, which have their offices in Colaba here, was a commercial artist from JJ School of Arts, and a recognized and reputed photographer. He had won several awards including national award from the President of India for his high quality advertisements and artistic photography. He was known for achieving subtle combination of light and shade in his photographs.

He was active in Kulal Sangha Mumbai since the last four decades.
