Doha: Al Zaman Exchange lifts Hanan cricket trophy

Doha, May 22: In division II of the 2ND Hanan cricket tournament 2015, Al Zaman Exchange easily defeated Al Shaqab Real Estate by 6 wickets. Al Shaqab batting first could reach only 114 runs and were all out in 18 overs. The top scorer was Mumtaz who scored 36 runs including 4 sixes and a boundary. Sabir was not out on 18 runs with a six. Kaiser and Atiq contributed 10 runs each while Yasheen scored 13 runs.


























Shameem and Ruwan took 2 wickets each while Ranil, Mahesh, Senaka, Mefoos, Shaji and Sanjeewa took a wicket each.

In reply Al Zaman Exchange easily scored 119 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 16,5 overs. The top scorers were Ruwan 16 runs not out, Shameem 16 runs, Shaji 15 runs not out, Aziz 12 runs not out and Sana 10 runs.

Atiq took 2 wickets, Ishaq, Yasheen and Amjad Khan took a wicket each.

Best bowler : Hinan / Al Fardan
Best all rounder : Shaji / Al Zaman Exchange

At the prize distribution ceremony, Fawad Rana managing director of QALCO was the chief guest and guests of honour were Chidananda Nayak, general manager of M Palloji, Hassan Raza, technical director of Qatar cricket association and Muhammed Mohyuddin from New Zealand.

The event was also attended by Mohammed Fayyaz C K, business development manager of Al Zaman Exchange.

The function was attended by supporters and well wishers. Over 300 prizes were given away to various players in the tournament.

The prize distribution ended with complimentary refreshments and a lucky draw for the spectators.
