Ludacris, wife welcome daughter

Los Angeles, June 5 (IANS): Rapper Ludacris and his wife Eudoxie Mbouguiengue have welcomed their first child together, a daughter.

Mbouguiengue announced the happy news on photo-sharing website Instagram on Thursday by posting a photograph of her dog and a pink balloon with "baby girl" written on it.

"She is here. #blessed #grateful, along with heart emoticons," read the caption, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Mbouguiengue also shared a photograph of a bucket of pink and white flowers sent by her husband's "Furious 7" co-star Vin Diesel.

"A special thank you to the @vindiesel family for her welcome home flowers," she wrote alongside the image.

Ludacris, meanwhile, confirmed the happy news by posting a photograph of a mother holding her son along with caption, "#tbt now @eudoxiee will be switching places. #blessings #love #life."

The "Stand up" rapper added a photograph of him and his wife.

"#unstoppable," he captioned it.

While Ludacris and his wife didn't give any details about their daughter on their postings, a source told E! News: "The baby's name is Cadence Gaelle Bridges. She was 7 lbs, 4oz and beautiful like her mom. Her middle name means 'a father's joy.'"

The couple's new bundle of joy will join the actor's daughters from his previous relationship, 14-year-old Karma and 14-month-old Cai Bella.
