Mangaluru: Two arrested in city on prostitution charges

Mangaluru, Jun 21: CCRB police arrested two persons, a man and a woman, on Saturday in city in relation to prostitution.

CCRB police raided a lodge on the basis of a credible tip off and arrested the duo. The police seized Rs 1,700 and eight family planning tablets from the arrested persons.

The woman was later sent to Prajna rehabilitation centre.

CCRB inspector Gurudath Kamath led the operation after obtaining search warrant from assistant police commissioner.
