Mangaluru, Jun 23: The investiture ceremony of Manipal School was held on June 22 at 9.00 am in the school campus. The mayor of Mangaluru, Jacintha Vijay Alfred was the chief guest.

She installed the young cabinet members in office and commended them for their role in the cabinet. She also added that it was a pleasure to see a miniature of the democratic system represented in the school which gave students hands on experience of how the parliament functions.

She stressed on the need of hardwork, dedication and perseverance by the cabinet members. She wished all the cabinet members the best for the forthcoming year.

Principal Anuradha Shivaram administered the oath to the new office bearers. The newly elected leaders pledged to uphold the dignity and honour of the school with their hard work, dedication and perseverance. The vice principal Vandana Harish presented a momento on behalf of the school. Reshma Rao compered the programme.
