Kundapur: Akshata murder accused in police custody

Kundapur, Jun 26: Sunil, who has been accused in the case of murder of Akshata, a resident of Henberu studying in a college at Byndoor, was remanded to police custody by the court on Thursday June 25. The youth was in judicial custody, and the local police had moved an application seeking his police custody, as they wanted his presence to make headway in the investigation into this murder.

The police have already got him medically examined in the government hospital here as well as Manipal Hospital. They now plan to pool together comprehensive information including witnesses and other clinching evidences relating to the case. The court has ordered the accused to be in police custody till June 29.
