Mangalore, May 7: CET entrance exams for admission to professional courses will be held on May 9.

As many as 5,264 students from the district will be appearing for the exams which will be held across the state.

Deputy commissioner Maheshwar Rao said that all the necessary arrangements have been made for the smooth running of the CET. He said that the test will be conducted in 11 centers in the district, out of which nine will be in the city while two will be at Puttur.

The DC has been appointed the chief superintendent for the district who in turn has appointed 11 observers for the centers. Senior college lecturers have been appointed as the question paper navigators while the principle of the center concerned will be the deputy chief superintendent.

According to a press release students have been advised to identify their center and seat a day in advance to avoid confusion on the day of exam. Heads of the centers have been requested to make arrangements at the centers in advance.
