Mysuru, Jul 2: Premakumari Jadeda, who claims to be having marital relationship with former minister, S A Ramdas, who she says has since ditched her, suddenly appeared before the media on Wednesday July 1 after a long gap. She said she was dissatisfied by the investigation report prepared by criminal investigation department (CID), which has given a clean chit to Ramdas.

Addressing a press conference here, she said that the CID report is marred by defects, adding that she will soon be approaching the state high court with a request to review the case. Premakumari charged the former minister of using his clout to pressurize the CID to come out with a report that is favourable to him. 'The investigation progressed well since the early stages. However, in the final stages, it lost its direction. As a result, I faced injustice,' she rued.

Premakumari claimed that she had provided all the evidences and documents needed by CID, and expressed anguish at the report prepared by CID which has absolved Ramdas of the charges. 'I have decided to continue my legal struggle through the high court. Although I had requested CID to submit the report to family court, it submitted the report to the third JMFC court because of the pressure brought by Ramdas,' she claimed.

She said that the resignation she had tendered to her government job has now been accepted. 'The authorities were dithering from accepting the resignation sent by me nine months back, and even the district deputy commissioner had overlooked it,' she added.
