David D’souza unanimously elected as the Prez of Mudarangadi GP

Udupi, Jul 2: Young Congress leader David Dsouza , who hails from shirva was unanimously elected as the president of Mudarangadi Grama panchayat  on Monday  June 29.
 
David Dsouza is holding the Post of President of  Mudrangadi Grama Panchayath for the Third time. He  has done many good development programmes while he was the president .People are expecting the same this time too.
 





 
David said after the Official announcements made , "I have been working for the people and the post is an add on responsibility. I will try my best to meet the expectation of the people." Speaking after being declared as the President of the Mudarangadi  Grama Panchayat and thanked God for the opportunity that he has given to him to serve the people. 
 
He also thanked the members of the Panchayat who voted for him and the family members and ward members who had elected him as the member of the Grama Panchayat.He made an appeal to all the memebrs of the Grama Panchayat to cooperate with him in working for the welfare of the people .
 
David Dsouza has been in politics since 15 years. A grassroot level worker he has been helpful to the people of Mudarangadi,Pernal ,Santhoor and surroundings irrespective of their caste, creed and religion. The family memebrs and well wishers of the winning candidates congratulated both David Dsouza and  Vice President  Jayanthi Poojari by offering them flower bouquets and garlands.
 
Among the well wishers who were present to congratulate David Dsouza were Senior Members of congress Sukumar Shetty, Gabriel Mathias, Sunil Cabral Youth Congress General Secretary Melwyn, Somu, Wilson, Melwyn Aranha.
