Karnataka journalist Union to organize 'Patrakartara Samilana'

Mangaluru, Jul 2: "Karnataka journalist union will organize 'Patrakartara Samilana 2015' on July 4 at Beasant College at 5 Pm, And two day national conference in the city" this was revealed by secretary of the union Satish Kapikad in a press meet held at press club on July 2. 

Addressing the media Satish Kapikad said, "As many as 40 senior journalists of Indian journalist union and Karnataka journalist union will be participating in the conference, on July 6 journalist will visit the tourist spots of Mangaluru and Moodabidri. Senior journalist S Jayaram will give a talk on video journalism yesterday and today and also a debate on journalism is organized. The programme will be inaugurated by district-in-charge minister B Ramanatha Rai, Murugesh B Shivapuji state president of Union will preside over the function." 

"U T Khader minister for health and family welfare, Abhaya Chandra, MP Naleen Kumar Kateel, MLA J R Lobo, MLA Moideen Bava, Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner A B Ibrahim, Mangaluru city police commissioner S Murugan will be present along with others." he added.

 Karnataka journalist Union will also honour senior journalist's S Jayaram, Gangadhar Matti, Ahmed anwar and senior paper distributor S Tharanath and Ananth Rai Bhatt will be honoured at the occasion.

Vice President Shivsharan Shetty, Treasurer Hakkim Bolar, Bava Padarangi member of Karnataka journalist Union were present at the occasion.
