Kundapur, Jul 3: Raghavendra Poojary (33), a resident of Neralakatte Marakana in the taluk, died on Thursday July 2. He was employed in Laxmi Canteen located in the compound of the government hospital here.
Poojary had scaled a tin sheet roof to seal the exhaust pipe of the canteen with cement on Wednesday evening. He lost his balance when attending to this work, fell down from a height, and suffered extensive injuries.
He was admitted into a private hospital at Udupi. However, efforts to save him failed, and he died on Thursday morning. Relating to this incident, a report was filed in the local police station.
