Husband deserts wife, daughter - search for him continues

Daijiworld Media Network - Kundapur (SP)

Kundapur, Jul 8: Nagesh (35), a native of Alur in the taluk, is said to have deserted his wife and daughter at Shivamogga during the family's journey from Vijayapura to Alur.

Nagesh used to work as cook for a hotel at Vijayapura. His wife, Jyoti (30), who belongs to Devarahipparige in Vijayapura district, works as a cleaning staff of the same hotel. The couple married after falling in love with each other sometime back, and has a five-year-old daughter, Satyapriya.

It is gathered that Nagesh began his journey with wife and daughter to his native village, Alur. After reaching Shivamogga, all the three alighted from the bus. Nagesh asked his wife and daughter to wait for him near the bus stand before going away, duly promising them to return soon. As he did not come back, Jyoti went back to Vijaypura, thinking that he would have gone back there. However, Nagesh could not be found there.

She then came to Alur but again faced disappointment there. Jyoti, who has been searching for her husband since the last some days in vain, has finally lodged a complaint in Gangolli police station about her missing husband.
