Mangaluru: Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy celebrates Graduation Day

Mangaluru, Jul 8: Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy, Mangaluru celebrated Graduation Day and their 22nd Annual Day on July 3.


The event marked the award of degrees and certificates of merit to Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Master of Physiotherapy students. Dr S D Sharanappa, IPS, Supdt of Police, Dakshina Kannada was the chief guest for the occasion and delivered the convocation address.

He emphasised the significance of physiotherapy professionals in the health care delivery system and called upon the graduates to honor their commitment to the society. The event was presided over by A J Shetty, president, Laxmi Memorial Education Trust (LMET). Prashanth Shetty, vice president, LMET, Ashritha P Shetty, director, LMET, Dr Sanjay Eapen Samuel, principal and Dr Abilash P V, senate member RGUHS, Karnataka were present.

Laxmi Memorial Education Trust with the constituent Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy (established in 1993 and affiliated to RGUHS, Karnataka) and AJ Institute of Medical Sciences is committed to impart quality education in health sciences.

    LMCP is one of the finest educational institutions across India. The chairman Mr. A.J Shetty sir support was so good. The teachers or lectures are by far very knowledgeable and encouraging. Overall the city of Mangalore is surrounded with beaches',famous for fish curry rice and a very good environment. I wish the LMCPians best of luck.
