Udupi, Jul 14: The foundation stone for ‘Minar Varna', Brahmavar was laid on Tuesday, July 14 by N B Vijay Ballal, administrative trustee, Shri Mahakali Janardhana Temple, Ambalpadi who also formally inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp.
On the occasion Dr Jerry Vincent Dais, president, Credai, Udupi, Vidyalaxami R, assistant general manager, Karnataka Bank, regional office, Udupi, Prathima Shetty, president, Handadi gram panchayath, Sudhir Kumar Shetty, former president, Handadi gram panchayath, T Jayanth Pai, Brahmavar, Gopal Bhat, of AG Associates, Udupi, Chandrasekhar Navada, Malathi Lakshmeesha, Raghuram Madhystha, Ravindra Pai were present on the occasion.
"Quality and timely delivery are the main keys to success and Malathi Lakshmeesha has achieved it by practising them in her two earlier projects in Udupi," said N B Vijay Ballal.
Ballal went on to say, "Her belief and humility have helped her achieve more. On entering a house or a flat it is very important as to how we feel about it. Merely blaming vaastu and repairing the interior of the home will not matter much, but good air, light and peace of mind are crucial. We should live in a house with a positive attitude and since we have already performed the pooja nothing bad will happen to us. Belief in God and respect for elders will play a key role in one's life."
"We should pray to God to give strength and power to overcome any difficulties," he added.
At the occasion Dr Jerry Vincent Dias was felicitated by N B Vijay Ballal for receiving the doctorate award recently .
In his address, Jerry Vincent said, "After Udupi, Brahmavar will be the next major area of development. If authorities work together towards better infrastructure, then there will surely be development in the area. There are many builders and businessmen staying in the 4000-plus flats, but Malathi Lakshmeesha is the only woman builder among them. This is a rare achievement."
Dr Jerry Dias released the brochure for the new project. Gopal Bhat delivered a brief note on the new project. Raghuram Baikady began the programme with prayers. Raghuram Madhystha gave the vote of thanks and Ganesh compered the programme.
