Vijayapura: Beggar kills boy for teasing daughter

Vijayapura, Jul 18: In a tragic incident which occurred within the premises of Gol Gumbaz here on Friday July 17, a beggar woman murdered a 12-year-old boy for teasing her daughter.

Uzma Saleem Siddique (50), a Hyderabad-based woman, has been begging near Gol Gumbaz since the last many years. The murdered boy has been identified as Samiulla Nabirasool Deginal (12). The police arrested her after she committed this crime, and she was remanded to judicial custody by a court here.

Samiulla Deginal had come to the Gumbaz premises as usual in the company of some of his friends on Friday morning. Uzma was already present there. The lady, who got angry at the sight of Samiulla as he kept teasing her daughter, launched an attack on him with a sickle, killing him instantly.

A complaint about the incident was registered in Gandhi Circle police station. District superintendent of police, D Prakash, and additional superintendent of police,Jiendra Khanagavi, visited the spot and directed investigators.

We do not have to teach the world any more to 'misbehave' If you were a beggar and had a daughter and the same boy were to tease her, you too might have done the same. All such people should learn a lesson. Do not underestimate the anger & strength of a common woman.

    Tragic.but other side may be the woman got angry means as she saw the Boy coming and teasing her daughter,must have going for some time.And it is a warning for anyone who tries to tease her daughter or any other woman.Now nobody will dare to speak to her.A mother did her duty to defend her child.of course a bit tragic and too far she has gone.Why even a beggar is a human and should be respected.when she has till now no such Register ,then leave her with warning.
