Mangaluru: Stranger on Pulsar bike stabs youth travelling by scooter

Mangaluru, July 18: A stranger who came by bike near Konaje Nadupadavu in Ullal stabbed a youth on a scooter on Friday night, July 17. This is a second such incident in the last three days.








Sirajuddin (24) from Nadupadavu is the victim of stab attack. He is employed as sales executive at Karnataka Agencies in Mangaluru. He was returning to his house in the night after finishing his work when an unknown person who came in Pulsar bike near Nadupadavu engineering college cross stabbed him and fled. The seriously injured Sirajuddin went a little further in his scooter and informed local people. He was then admitted to a private hospital in Deralakatte.

A person named Sathish was also stabbed by a person who came in a black Pulsar bike a few days ago. He too was stabbed in the lower abdomen. Later a person named Ibrahim was stabbed near Fajir in the guise of asking for address. Now this incident has occurred near Nadupadavu. In all these incidents an unknown person had come in black Pulsar bike and stabbed the victims.

A man named Pradeep was stabbed in Talapady two days ago. It is suspected that the same group is involved in targeting the lower abdomen for stabbing. The suspects in all these incidents are yet to be traced.

    Traffic department must advice the bike riders to go slow than to wear the helmet. Some people use the advantage of the helmet to do these type of works.

    Thats funny, whether you crash at 30kmph or 100kmph, if you hit your head on the ground, the injury will be severe. I advocate safe riding, although this is off topic, I just had to reply to your comment so that youths reading this don't get silly ideas to ride without helmets.

    Chaddies try hard for communal violence on the occassion of eid by stabbing people,stone pelting to masjid,attacking cattle traders etc but they filed my muslims peaceful approachment.The main reason for the attacks are chaddies jealousy on eid celebrations.

    It is a question of days before the culprit is nabbed by The Police. In Ullal we have Ms. Bharati who is well known to deal with matters like these and nothing escapes her attention.

    There appears to be serial stabbing cases these days in Ullal area. It is good to see that in situations like these Mr. Murugan - The Commissioner of Police himself overseas the operations.
