Mangaluru, Jul 18: Tanishq, India's largest jeweller, hosted the celebrated singer Kunal Ganjawala at a memorable event Tanishq store in Mangaluruon on Saturday July 18. Prior to his performance at the popular Alive in India concert, Kunal visited the Tanishq store.

The popular playback singer, who has a number of multi-lingual songs to his name, was happy to be present at the store and expressed appreciation for the brand's endeavor to offer jewellery to its customers.

On this occasion he sang 'Bheege hont tere' from Murder movie, 'Ondhe Ondu Sari' from Mungaru Male movie, 'Neene Neene' from Akash film and 'Kaminey raat ke dhai baje' from Kaminey film.

Kunal, who has also sung for Dony Correa's Konkani album 'Hero Only Yours' sharing his experience, said, "It was wonderful. I enjoyed myself singing in Konkani language. Dony was on the phone yesterday to enquire about his album he sent to me."

Speaking about Mangaluru, Kunal said "I had come here last year with my parents and wife to Alake. I often visit Alake because Sai Baba's ashram is there and my family has been the devotees of Baba for more than 25 years. This is the one opportunity I get to come to Karnataka. There are such beautiful temples in Mangaluru and other palces like Kollur Mookambika, Dharmasthala and other temples. Mangaluru is very green. I used to eat non-veg food and fish, but not any more."

Speaking about the upcoming project, Kunal said, "I have been busy with other tours in North India and other places. Rana Vikrama is Kannada action thriller film directed by Pavan Wadeyar featuring Puneeth Rajkumar, Anjali and Adah Sharma in the lead roles. I have given my voice for the title song of the film Rana Vikrama."

He also revealed that he was supposed to sing a song for the Tulu movie 'Rang' in which comedian Johnny Lever acted, but due to an unfortunate technical error it did not happen. "I will sign in the future. Shilpa Shetty and Sunil Shetty will be proud of me." he said.

He also expressed his love for the jewellery.

Khader the franchisee for Tanishq Mangaluru, Ali Raza the area business manager and others were present on this occasion.

Later Kunal Ganjawala performed at Forum Fiza mall where the crowd cheered to the rare performance.
