Puttur, Jul 19: A private hospital in Puttur virtually became a fighting place when the manager of the hospital allegedly attacked the father of a child who was admitted into the hospital and then the people coming in a big group to attack the manager as retaliation.

The child of Bhaskar Dharmasthala was taking treatment at the hospital. During the bill payment, the manager of the hospital allegedly attacked Bhaskar.

Bhaskar belongs to an important organisation in town. When the members from his organisation learned that Bhaskar was attacked, they came to the hospital in a group and demanded that the manager be handed over to them. This agitation affected the traffic also on the road.

Puttur town police came to the hospital and controlled the situation. But the manger of the hospital could not come out as he developed high blood pressure and was admitted into the same hospital.

Hospital is a place certainly not to fight and demand VIP.presentation.Everybody should behave as a normal Person. In India some big heads would like to have extra Piece of cake.Naturally then arises Problems. When billing deduction or a luxury room with no extra costs etc are for example. This should be not tolerated.Everybody is same as Patient. And later extra gang Comes to Hospital to ask to handover Manager is really boxing Intention.when someone is not satisfied with Hospital complain to Police but not fight in Hospital. If at all who wants to fight then fix a date and tickets and go to a public place .There will be public having their enjoyment.otherwise in Hospital area is quite nuesense.Behave as educated wherever you go .

Hospital is a place for treating patients d - treating patients very kindly too. It is said that half the cure depends on the approach of the doctor.

In this particular case no one knows the actual reason for the fight and the reaction of the people that followed.

Hope the Police or any social organization comes into the picture to resolve the problem.

It was long ago that I had said in one of my comments with regard to Mangalore becoming U.P. Since that very incident things have gone from bad to worse in Mangalore. Be it political system, religious intolerance, cleanliness matter in public places, corruption in public and private sector, rape cases, thefts, hooliganism, eve teasing, communal fights, rowdism, dowry cases, scams etc. are common social evils that are being practiced in mangalore these days. We need a radical change present to change the face of the society. I am sure Bhaskar might have created a scene at the payment counter not wanting to pay the said amount and might have himself attacked the manager first which might have irritated the manager who might have attacked Bhaskar in return.

Attck against Hospitals and DOctors on the rise. I feel both the Patient as well as Hospital personals should restrain themselves from attacking and creating trouble in this ear Otherwise doctor patient relationship may suffer like anything in future
