Kundapur, Jul 19: A sexual harassment case has taken a new twist with a new complaint being lodged against the complainant.

Previously a complaint was lodged by a young girl from Kota Giliyaru who alleged that Ganesh and Nagaraj had sexually harassed her. The accused were arrested in the case under the Pocso act on July 17. The complaint had also mentioned that along with Ganesh and Nagraj, two others - Srinivas and Harish - had blackmailed her and also circulated an obscene video of her on WhatsApp.

Hundreds of people went to the Kota police station on Friday July 17 night and complained about the girl. They alleged that the girl’s behaviour was not good.

Station officer Kabbalraj who accepted the complaint said that they will conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. He said the case is being handled transparently without any fear or favour.

    I just wonder how come hundred People decide about bad character of that Girl.and her parents were not informed all the time?do parents dont care her?something is certainly fishy here.Because her brother questioned her ,she complained of rape and sexual harassment?because her secret came out?

    Leaving aside this incident, the age for onset of sexual activity has come down to below 15 in metro cities like Mumbai, and many of these small teenagers do not hesitate to have multiple partners and even use pills like I pills etc. and even undergo abortions, mostly among the elite!! This is the ground reality if we are to believe news reports from the experiences of gynecs!!

    In the light of this you can imagine how girls too have become emboldened and do not think twice when getting into physical intimacy!!

    However, there might be genuine cases too where the boys have preplanned strategies to trap and then blackmail a female!! Now, it is for the authorities to find out who is right and who is wrong!!

    Lastly, you might have seen majority of such complaints/issues crop up only from the lower middle class or lower strata of society and never from the upper middle class/elite/uber rich etc., why is that???

    This is very much possible as nowadays women/girls are getting into consensual relationships, for fun, pleasure, and gifts, sometimes multiple, when things go awry they have the clear advantage of crying rape and escaping, hence this incident should be thoroughly investigated as reported!!
