It is learnt that on Saturday July 18, Dinesh and Shobha had left their daughter at the house of their relatives Saraswati and Prabhakar at Hiriadka for the weekend.

On Sunday, Saraswati, her daughter Tejaswi (4) and Dithi were walking along the roadside when a speeding Scorpio went out of control and rammed into them in front of Hiriadka Government First Grade College. The impact was such that the three were thrown several feet away.

Nowadays Padestrains life is in danger. Like the above location, there is 1 more place in Kottara Chowki, Mangalore, where on the Service Road both Heavy and Light Vehicles ply from Kottara Chowki towards Kulur. Besides from the opposite side 2 wheelers and sometimes in Autorichshaws ply and the padestrains fate is miserable. Elderly people find it extremely difficult and the speeding vehicle if does mistakes and we point out the youngsters in these vehicles sold the elders. This is the fate of padestrains.

RIP the child and the woman who lost life in this accident. Joe, I am appalled that you are hinting at benefit of doubts towards this driver. Do you want to blame the pedestrian or the other vehicles or the road itself for this reckless act? do you show sympathy with all such drivers?

Tum Peddu ka peddu hi rehega. Na akal na knowledge??

"Kuniyoke gottilladava rangastala sariyilla yendaage" ( The guy who does not know to dance, blamed the stage say stage is not proper).

I am not appreciating the road but do you know how the people drive??

This is due to negligence of Traffic Police department. If they work honestly & strict rules apply, all drivers will try to drive carefully.

don't be so silly by blaming the road instead of pointing out the negligence of the driver.

Tomorrow you may say, why this people walking besides the road??
