Moodbidri: Scooter hits electric pole - youth loses life

Moodbidri, Aug 7: After a scooter hit an electric pole near Nellikar school near Hosmar near here on Wednesday August 5 night, its rider died on the spot. The deceased was Rajesh (29), a native of Gokarn.

Rajesh worked for a vegetables shop at Bandimath, Karkala. On Wednesday, he missed his bus at night to return home. Therefore, he borrowed a Honda Activa scooter of the shop owner to go home. When he was returning to his rented house in Hosmar, he met with the above accident.

Police personnel of the town station here have registered a case.
