M'luru: DK zilla school Kapikad felicitates Elias Sanctis

Mangaluru, Aug 12: Rotary Club of Mangaluru central has got the entire Dakshina Kannada zilla higher primary school, Kapikad painted and also got the unwanted weeds grown around the school removed spending nearly Rs 1,50,000. The development committee and teachers in the school recognizing the service, recently felicitated Elias Sanctis, president of Rotary Club of Mangaluru central.







Former MLA N Yogesh Bhat, Chief guest in the programme praised wholeheartedly the service of Rotary Club. He hoped that more such work may take place in the society by giving importance to education.He added that the school premises should be clean to attract childrento Kannada medium school.

Rotary Club of Mangaluru central has already distributed note books in five government schools andstruggling for the development of schools by adopting five schools. MLA Yogish Bhat congratulated the Rotary Club office bearers and members for the noble work.

Education field coordinator Pitambar, congratulating the Rotary Club hoped that more such service may be received from the Club and that the Almighty may strengthen the Rotary Club to serve the people.Derebail ward corporator Rajneesh spoke as per the context.

Former Rotary Club governor Dr Devadas Rai, army man Rajagopal Rai. District Rotary leader Shari Shekhar Shetty, former club president Santhosh M, members Ravi Jalan. Dr Jayaprakash Poonja, Sadananda Gambeera, Ronald, Navin, school management committee President, office bearers and important people in education were present.

School headmistress Pavana welcomed. Teacher Aruna compered the programme.
