Dubai, Sep 13: In a press statement issued on behalf of Daiji Dubai, the prominent forum of Konkani writers in the UAE, the present governing committee has urged experienced Konkani writers to forward their profiles to be considered for 2016 Daiji Dubai Literary Award.
It has been a privileged tradition for Daiji Dubai to present and honour a proficient writer annually from the Konkani writers' fraternity. The award carries a cash amount of Rs 75,000 together with trophy and certificate of honour.
The new nominations and recommendations should be sent on or before October 31.

The committee formed by Daiji Dubai would make the final analysis and the winner would be announced by the end of December.
