MIT, Kundapur students qualify for national-level ch'ship

Kundapur, Sep 18: Five students of Moodlakatte Institute of Technology, Kundapur, have been selected for the final round of the national-level championship on ‘Cloud Computing’ in a qualifying round held on the institute’s campus on Friday September 11 and Saturday September 12.

A national-level workshop on ‘Cloud Computing’ was conducted by IIT-Bhubaneswar, which will be held in the first week of November 2015. A total of 87 students participated in the league stage of the championship. 

Siddartha Shetty, chairman of the Institute, Dr Shubha P Bhat, principal, and Melwin D’Souza, head, computer science and engineering department, congratulated the selected students and wished them luck in the final competition.

The students from the computer science and engineering department who have been selected are Naksha Shetty, Yashaswini, Keerthana, Bhakthi Shetty, and Naveen Kumar.
