Mumbai, Sep 21: Sahithya Bharathi of Karnataka Sangha, Mumbai held 'Sahitya Chintana-23', a programme on literary discussions at Samarasa Bhavana, Mahim West on Saturday, Sep 19.

Theatre artiste and director Kasargod Chinna expressed his regret that conventional artistes losing their sheen in theatre are going for technology media.

Well known singer Dr Sampada Bhat Marballi presented 'Bhavasampada' musical programme. Manoj Rao and S Anil accompanied her.

Honorary secretary of the Sangha, Omdas Kannangar, honorary treasurer M D Rao, former president M Kory, Dr S K Bhavani and well known author Jayanth Kaikini presented shawls, mementos and flower bouquets to Kasargod Chinna and Dr Sampada Bhat and honoured them.

Theatre artiste Mohan Marnad, Hema Ameen, advocate Vasanth Kalakoti, Kolya Raju Shetty, Manohar Nayak, S Daya, K V Aithal, Anitha Poojary Takode, S T Vijayakumar Thingalaya, M D Rao, Vasanth Nayak, Raju Sriyan, Juliet Pereira and others participated in the discussion programme. Durgappa Kotiar welcomed and introduced the guests.
