Mangaluru: First Tulu horror movie 'Ice Cream' to hit screens on Oct 16

Mangaluru, Sep 22: 'Ice Cream', the first horror, suspense and thriller movie in Tulu, will hit the silver screen across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on October 16, said producer and director of the film Pritham Sagar, who is also a journalist based in the city.

Addressing a press meet here on Tuesday September 22, "For the first time in the Tulu film industry, we have used LED vehicle for the promotion of the movie. This vehicle will move to every nook and conrner in both the districts for promoting the movie. The trailer of the film will be screend on this vehicle in various places.

Journalist Venu Gopal Shetty who has co-directed the movie, said, "The film has obtained U/A certificate from the Censor Board. We have used the social media effectively to promote the movie. The Facebook page on the film has already got 10,500 likes."

Journalist Navitha Jain and Pritham Sagar have produced 'Ice Cream' movie. R J Rupesh Shetty and Anvitha Rao play the lead roles. Dinesh Attavar and Manohar Prasad will be seen in guest appearances.

Chethan Rai, Rohini Jagaram, Daijiworld's Dayanand Kukkaje, Vijay Mayya and others will star in the movie. Rajesh Haleangady has done the cinematography, while music is by Madan Mohan and background score by Diwan Giridar.

Navitha Jain and RJ Rupesh Shetty were present at the press meet.
