Mangaluru: Rakesh Malli is president of state amateur Kabaddi association

Mangaluru, Sep 23: Rakesh Malli, presently the president of Dakshina Kannada Kabaddi association, has been elected as the president of state amateur Kabaddi association.

Rakesh Malli has conducted national level Kabaddi tournament at Panambur with the participation of record number of teams. Dakshina Kannada Kabaddi association has held record number of Kabaddi tournaments in the district and has made a name as the best association in the state under the leadership of Malli.

Dakshina Kannada teams have won prizes in the junior and sub junior categories continuously. Dakshina Kannada Kabaddi association has also conducted annual championships successfully without fail.

Under Malli's leadership, the association has also helped in providing employment to district Kabaddi players in various companies.
