Mumbai, Oct 3: “Our unrelenting struggle for the convenience of train travellers has been fruitful. The Netravati-Kochi-Kurla train that was introduced in 1988 and Mangaluru to Kurla Matsyagandha Express trains have been conducive to the convenience of railway passengers. Our demands for Bandra Vasai road Mangaluru train, a train for Tanjavooru temple and Velankannni Church, a stop for CST Mangaluru superfast train at Dadar and Bengaluru-Mangaluru day train have continued”, said Railway Yatri Sangha, Udupi president R L Dais.

Dais was speaking in Railway Yathri Sangha Adalat at Malad West Marve Road Deepa Mala society auditorium on the evening of Friday October 2.

Malad Yathri Sangha vice president advocate Jagadish Hegde, Jaya Shetty Charkop, advocate S B Ameen and Petemane Prakash Shetty expressed their opinions.

Railway Yatri Sangha Mumbai advisor vice president Premanath Kotian, joint secretary Rajith Suvarna, Malad Kannada Sangha treasurer Prakash S Shetty, joint secretary Anil S Poojary, joint treasurer Shanker R Shetty, Balakrishna Shetty Varapadi, Raviraj K Kalianpur, Thonse Sanjiva Poojary, Bhaskar V Bangera, Gopal Kalianpur and others were present.
