New Delhi, Oct 7 (IANS): Indian automobile maker Tata Motors on Wednesday said it has started export of its Bolt sedan and hatchback cars to South Africa.
"With the aim to deliver the best of products and services to our customers, we are delighted to bring two new exciting products to the South African market -- the dynamic sedan and the sporty hatchback, Bolt," Tata Motors passenger vehicle business unit president Mayank Pareek said in a statement.
He said it is in tune with the company's Horizonext strategy.
The vehicles, manufactured in Pune, will be distributed by Accordian Investments which is the local distributor for Tata Motors' passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in South Africa.
A subsidiary of the Imperial Holdings Group, Accordian Investments imports Tata Motors' vehicles from India and distributes them to 43 dealers in South Africa. It also provides after-sales support through a network of 59 service facilities.
