Bantwal, Oct 15: Renowned cricketer, Yuvraj Singh, visited Goddess Vanadurga temple near B C Road here, which also houses under-water abode of serpent god and Kadambavana, on Tuesday October 13.

He was accompanied by 'Bodyguard' actress Hazel Keech, and several of his family members and friends.

Yuvraj offered special puja aimed at appeasing the serpent god at the temple. He also strolled around for sometime, enjoying and appreciating nature's splendour around the temple premises.

Yuvraj reached the temple at about 10 am and remained there for three hours. He partook breakfast in the morning and feast in the afternoon at the temple. He showed interest in the history and background of the temple and discussed the issue with Gurudath Shenoy, a member of the managing committee of the temple. During the discussions, he also praised the way the temple is being managed and developed.

Locals, Panduranga Shenoy and Vallabhesh Shenoy were present on the occasion.
