Kundapur: Armyman dies after falling from moving train

Kundapur, Oct 18: An armyman from Punjab lost his life after falling off a moving train here on Sunday October 18.

It is learnt that Sukhwinder Singh (40) died after he fell from the train somewhere between Senapur and Bijoor in the taluk on Sunday morning.

Station master B T Nayak who saw Sukhwinder lying injured on the railway track informed the Gangolli police, who arrived at the spot and took him to hospital. However, he breathed his last on the way.

An identity card found on the railway track where Sukhwinder fell revealed that he was in the Indian Army.

Gangolli police have registered a case.
