Auto Drivers in Mangalore always in agressive manner and even they dont give respect to passengers. But Other cities in Karnataka, they talk to passengers very nicely and more helpful.

Auto drivers in DK are very rude and act like goons, especially in night they operate like a pack of wild dogs! Have experienced a similar incident when a a auto raja goon, having demanded arbitrary fare in the night fell into an argument and later called ten others from his pack to attack and suppress my demand for his asking arbitrary fare, majority of these guys are shameless characters!!

There is no doubt most of the bus, taxi and auto drivers are rude in behaviour, but question is how RTO allow them to continue in this kind of behaviour.RTO must be taken necessary actions in this regard.Auto drivers are road kings in Smart mangalore.

These auto rickshaw drivers have become a mafia unto them selves. They often harass for extras from the passengers, rash driving and very abusive. The worst are at the railway stations, and ksrtc busstands. Authorities need to take action(including thier owners need to be taken to task.) The fact that some policemen also own several of the vehicles have emboldened the drivers.

not wise to rush into a judgement on what really happened in this particular incident but most auto drivers and bus drivers are rude and arrogant. as if they own the roads. wish there were systems in place to ensure that drivers of atleast public transport are more trained and responsible.

At times like these, you just feel ashamed by being a part of such a crowd. No doubt we are the highest educated district n crap bt what's the use if our actions don't resemble it..small minds, small actions.. We are communally divided, we call north karnatakans gowdas, then we have names like kadabu, ghattadawru..I mean are we all really educated at all in the real sense??
