Sullia: Man electrocuted when ironing clothes

Sullia, Dec 21: In a tragic incident which occurred at Yedamangala village in the taluk on the evening of Saturday December 19, a person got electrocuted. Jyotiprasad (35), son of Dekkala Dugganna Gowda from that village lost his life in the incident.

When ironing the clothes at his house, Jyotiprasad fell unconscious after he suffered from electric shocks. The family members made arrangements to take him to a private hospital at Puttur, but he breathed his last before reaching there, it is gathered.

On the basis of a complaint filed by the brother of deceased, Subrahmanya, policemen of Subrahmanya station have registered case of unnatural death.

Jyotiprasad is survived by wife, a son, a daughter, and a brother.
