Fire erupts in building at Kodialbail, loss put at Rs 2 lac

Mangaluru, Jan 6: Fire broke out in a the meter room of an apartment building near Navabharat circle, Kodialbail here on Thursday January 6.

The fire erupted in the meter room of Gulabi Enclave.

The cause for the fire is said to short circuit.

Though no injury was reported, the flames completely damaged the meters and electrical wires in the room.
The electricity was cut off. Thick smoke filled the room.

A loss of Rs 2 lac has been estimated.

Fire tender rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames.
