Mangaluru: Bannanje Raja in police custody again

Mangaluru, Jan 7: Pandeshwar police have been given the custody of infamous underworld fugitive, Bannanje Raja, for two days, relating to attack on People's Union for Civil Liberties activist, P B D'Sa.

When he was produced in the second JMFC court here on December 30, Bannanje had been remanded to five days police custody, and handed over to Kadri police. When Pandeshwar police approached the court on January 4 for his police custody, the court had given them his custody for two days. The policemen produced him again in the court at the end of the custody period, and secured his police custody again till January 8.
