Bantwal, Jan 15: Niket Kumar (16), a student from Chendtimar in B Casba village here breathed his last at Sabarimala on Wednesday January 13. He had gone there on pilgrimage.
Niket was the son of Rama Kulal, and student of SVS high school here. He suffered severe heart attack when he was near the shrine of Lord Ayyappa. ;He was immediately rushed to a hospital at Kottayam, but efforts of the doctors there to save him failed.
His body was brought to his native place on Thursday. His mortal remains were confined to flames at the Baddakatte graveyard here on Thursday night.
