Trade delegations from 23 countries at Bengaluru exhibition


Bengaluru, Jan 21 (IANS): As many as 70 trade delegations from 23 countries are participating in the six-day IMTEX FORMING 2016 exhibition that kicked off here on Thursday.

The exhibition focusing on dies and moulds, forming tools, machine tool accessories, metrology and others has China, Germany, Taiwan and Japan as partner countries.

It has been organised at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.

Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers Association president P.G. Jadeja said the government had approved setting up of a machine tools research and development facility at the Indian Institute of Technology - Chennai along with a technology fund.
