Dubai, Feb 22: Gulf Sports International Limited (GSIL) has created new revolution in tennis cricket history by organizing a successful Hard Tennis ball cricket tournament ETG gulf stream presents Gulf Champions League, GCL-2016 on 18th and 19th February 2016 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, UAE.
The relentless efforts and perfect planning by the GCL Committee members to unify diverse cultures and building strong teams of people engaging themselves in sports activities through a sport event were perfectly showcased on the days of the event.
GSIL was founded by like-minded cricket lovers who wanted to unify all the communities through sport events and hence organized an historic event GCL-2016 in tennis cricket history.
For the very first time in tennis cricket history, a total cash price of AED 90,000 was awarded to the teams which made it the finals.

The Tournament Kick-Started on the 18that The Sevens Ground in Dubai , There were a total of 24 League games that took place on that very day . Some Interesting games were played between well known teams fromIndia , Kuwait,Saudi,Qatar & The UAE . The Tournament was played on basis of League / Knock Out with maximum of 8 over’s per each innings. The Tournament witnessed talent from all over India who displayed amazing batting and bowling skills. The total teams participated were 16 out of which 2 Teams came out on top as the Finalists.
Pacific Venture Dubai and Hanan Cricket Club – Qatar. After fine display of batting and bowling from both the Teams ,the stage was all set for an enticing finale with crowds backing up their local teams, Pacific Venture won the Toss and elected to put Hanan to bat first as they were confident about their bowling ability. The decision seem to have gone in Pacific Venture’s side as Hanan cricket lost wickets at regular intervals and were only able to put up a fighting score of 50/10 runs in 7.2 Overs.
Multi-Talented Imran from Hanan Cricket Club also failed to score runs and was dismissed with clever bowling and field placement by pacific venture captain YogeshPenkar.
The Stage all set for Pacific Venture to lift the cup as they had to chase down 52 runs in 5.5 overs. Pacific Venture opening partnership was 30 runs in the first 2 overs with Krishna Satputea.k.a Sachin of Tennis Cricket scored quick 30 runs before getting out to a mistimed shot making way to captain cool YogeshPenkar who saw the game off and achieving the total of 52 runs.

The outstanding performance of individual cricket players was recognized in the entire tournament. Beginning from the league stages to the finals, all the match winners were honored with “Man of the MatchJignesh Patel - Pacific Ventures” trophies along with “Best BatsmenKrishna Satpute - Pacific Ventures”, “Best BowlerThukranMaharaj - Pacific Ventures” and “Man of the SeriesImran Koteswar - Hanan Qatar” respectively.
