Mangaluru: People will bid goodbye to Congress in next Assembly elections: BJP

Mangaluru, Feb 25: Bouyed by the results of the recent zilla and taluk panchayat elections in which BJP won a majority of the seats in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, BJP district president Pratap Simha Nayak on Thursday February 25 said that for the third time in the history of the district, BJP has brought the entire Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat into its fold.

Addressing a press meet at the party office here, Nayak said, "People of Dakshina Kannada blessed BJP and rejected the ruling Congress for not responding to the people's needs and gave a fitting reply to the egoistic Congress leaders. BJP has been involved in organizing the party throughout the district since the last Assembly elections. This has yielded better results in the later elections like Mulky municipal, MP, MLC and now taluk and ZP elections.

"The ruling Congress party has failed to gain the 'ruling party advantage' in the TP/ZP elections. In the next Assembly elections BJP will show tremendous performance and people will bid goodbye to Congress," he said.

"Congress leaders have misused their power by delimitation of constituencies. The district-in-charge minister gave more priority to his constituency in delimitation of constituencies and thereby misused his power. He is discriminating against other constituencies by giving more importance to his own constituency.

"If the Congress leaders make any effort to have a ZP president from their party through backdoor politics using reservation quota, people of the district will not forgive them. People have made Congress sit in opposition," he added.

MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik and others were present.

Political parties talk a lot about election results, including forthcoming elections.
    However, do not talk about:
    what they have done,
    what they are doing and
    what they will do
    what they failed to do!
There is one old age saying:
One who talks a lot seldom delivers.

In Mangalore and Udupi RSS and Hindu groups are very strong having regular shakas and tension between communities have united hindu vote bank. It is certainly difficult to congress to change the young minds who have only one Hindu party. Hence, BJP victory in coastal area is taken it as granted.

central bjp was good for nothing untill modi-shah duo came into the field in 2014.modi-shah gave new life to central bjp by thier active politics and therby rejuvenating it.but the same cannot be said for state bjp.bring some honest and straight forward leaders in the forefront who are working for the people and the party right from ground level like halady shetty.if halady shetty did not cooperate with bjp this time, bjp would have got the same seat as congress in udupi.better correct now from previous mistakes committed during previous term if state bjp wants to win next time in assembly elections.

Even after consistent loosing & getting battered in Coastal districts and Malnad areas,Congress does not learn lessons. People of this state have REJECTED Italians, Hublots and Crorepati Corrupt politicians whose only goal is MINORITY feet licking and appeasement.

Confident that Karnataka will be only State in South which will have the Lotus blooming POWER in 2018 yet again!
