Kundapur, Mar 10: “I have already spoken to the DC and the SP regarding the case of misuse of gold in Kolluru temple and five suspects are arrested. People have suspected that there is a possibility of the involvement of big fish in the case. On demands for detailed investigation, the Chief Minister will be requested to
transfer the case to COD or CBI”, said MLA K Gopala Poojary.

Speaking in a news conference in the MLA's office he said that he has spoken about it in the Vidhana Sabha also. There are suspicions as there have been no audits in the temple during the last eight years. The key of the strong room given to D class worker is a witness to the irresponsibility of the management. There should be investigation about the stolen cash and jewelery from the temple. I have spoken about it to the SP and strict action and termination from service is ordered against the guilty, he said.

The new management committee will be appointed when clarified by the court, he said. He said that he had gone to the house of Jayaprakash Hegde to request him to return to Congress. However he clarified that the party will not drown if he does not return, he said.

He added that the Chief Minister is expected to arrive at the district on April 6.
